“ Arboli is a really small place in the mountains. Regarding the size of the village, it's great to have any accomodation options here at all. The refugi is a good-value place to stay for long distance walkers like me who arrive on a hot day and seek refreshment and shelter. The long dormitory room with bunk beds is adequate, but a bit scary in times of Covid (escepcially if someone at the other end of the room is coughing all night). There is also WIFI and food. As I do not speak Catalan or Spanish I was a little bit lost in translation. However, Maria, who runs the place, speaks some English, and did her best to make me feel welcome. ”
“ Such a nice stay at Refugi D’Arboli We came during the off season and the hostel was practically empty during the week which was unexpected but actually very pleasant. Everything was absolutely spotless and they’ve created such a cozy vibe. The owner graciously made us dinner one night as the whole town sporadically shuts down and it was by far the best meal we’ve eaten in Spain. We will be back for sure ”
